About Us

When Reverend Lloyd Lambert established The Christian Center in 1955, it was the result of a transformed life in Christ.  He sensed a call to serve those who, like him before, were broken and without refuge.  Together with his wife, Dorothy, and his family, Lloyd was faithful to God's prompting, and the ministry evolved and expanded.  Our staff today owns that same calling as The Christian Center continues to serve the Hungry, Hurting, and Homeless.

Through a variety of programs, services, and agency management, The Christian Center ministers to thousands of people every year. By sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ and by meeting basic human needs in His name, the love shown to one man has grown into an organization that shares with many that, "Healing Begins Now."

Overview

• The Christian Center (TCC) is a 501 (C) (3) faith based non-denominationl nonprofit organization in Anderson, Indiana dedicated to serving the Hungry, Hurting, and Homeless. Established in 1955 by our founders Lloyd and Dorothy Lambert, TCC has been helping to transform the lives of the broken, addicted, beat down, and shut out from all over Madison County, IN and elsewhere around the US.
  
  
• Through staff members, volunteers, and partnering organizations, a comprehensive array of emergency and long-term services are available to our clients. These services include: Food, Shelter, Clothing, Hygiene Products, Household Necessities, Medical, Dental, Substance Abuse Education and Recovery Programs, Financial and Life skills Education, Counseling, and more.
