In early 2009, The Christian Center's Mission Statement was revised. While the previous mission statement was valid, there was a realized need to focus on WHO is served before HOW they are served, and, more importantly—on the spiritual emphasis before the social aspects. As a faith based non-denominational, nonprofit organization, it is The Christian Center's intent to see that every soul being served becomes who God intends them to be…regardless of where they are in life now.
Building upon its heritage of ministry and outreach, The Christian Center has a vision of becoming a hub of both faith-based and non-faith-based organizations working together cooperatively to meet the needs of the hungry, hurting, and homeless.
Understanding that the present facilities and ministries of The Christian Center were born out of a vision developed from within a single residence and out of one man's heart and passion for ministry and outreach, so the current staff wishes to continue to grow and develop its sources, resources and relationships to increasingly meet the needs of others.
Currently working on establishing new best practices and methodologies for all aspects of its ministries, it is The Christian Center's hope to share its acquired knowledge base, values and principles with other ministries, helping to establish a ministry co-op, or incubator in Madison County.
