Andrea Baker, Community Relations Coordinator

Just when The Christian Center determined the need for a Community Relations Coordinator, is about the same time that Andrea Baker decided to relocate to Anderson from Illinios. With an educational background in Political Science, Public Administration, Spanish and a certificate in non-profit management, some would call Andrea's application for the job a lovely coincidence. Andrea calls it God's wonderful orchestration.

In addition to management of the Community Assistance Program, Andrea's responsibilites include grant writing, volunteer coordination, donor relations, and event planning.

Her enthusiasm for her job is buoyed by a vision for increased ministry expressed by leadership at The Christian Center. Andrea says, "It's bigger than we can imagine, but not bigger than God can imagine. The potential for growth here is phenomenal."

Andrea brings a wonderful open-mindedness to her position and a philosophy of bringing together the best ideas that can benefit the ministries of The Christian Center, its clients, employees, and the surrounding community.
