As a case manager, James Hill occasionally has to be pretty firm. Don't let that impression deceive you; in truth, he is one of the friendliest guys you'll ever know!
James came to The Christian Center after nine years of full-time pastoring in local bodies, and he continues to preach whenever he is able (including in TCC's chapel). Spiritual counsel comes with the territory in his role, so he certainly fits the bill. Primarily, he is responsible for assessing each prospective resident's background, assigning them to the program with specifics to their case, and keeping them accountable to their goals. In short, he's about connecting and maintaining an accountability relationship.
When not at work, James is with his family – wife (Megan) and son (Isaac), maybe mom & dad, too – enjoying life to the fullest. He recognizes God's hand in what he does and has and regularly takes time to step back and appreciate His blessings. Let's not forget to mention Greeny the tree frog, who is a pretty important part of the Hill family – Isaac's favorite pet.
So, a friendly family-man dealing with rough issues in peoples' lives – how does that work? The answer: very well. It's exactly the example these men need as they challenge themselves to be better people.
