With strong organizational skills and a high standard of work performance, Renée Davis enjoys the myriad details that come under her direction as Executive Assistant, including payroll and in-house communications. As assistant to the director, she happily accepts assignments that free administration to function more effectively.
Largely satisfied with her work of over 14 years in reference at the Anderson Public Library, Renée opened her bulletin one Sunday morning in church and read an announcement that The Christian Center was accepting applications. While looking over the details of the post, her heart said within her, "I think that's my job." Her feet followed her heart. She applied for and was offered the position. The year was 2005, and she continues her work with the firm belief that God called and placed her here.
"This is where I'm supposed to be," says Renée. "I feel like I'm doing good through my work—helping others make a better life for themselves. It would be hard to walk away from that."
