When we are in the midst of hard times, it can sometimes be difficult to remember that God is with us. Each day, our residents, clients, and staff members have stories they share to lift one another up and glorify God in what he is doing here at The Christian Center. We encourage you to read the accounts below and be inspired and encouraged by what you can contribute when you give to TCC.
Testimony 1: God and Squirrels
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life…look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6: 25-26 & 33
I am humbled and thankful God has led me to work at TCC. He is teaching me to be more like Him with each interaction. I encourage you to come and experience what I have the honor to experience. These stories are real and are perfect examples of why community is so essential to knowing Christ richly and deeply. Jesus' love knows no socio-economic class, age, or gender. His love is waiting to be revealed to us through anyone who has been changed by His love. I recognized Christ's love and generosity through a preacher and a homeless man, and in Christ's love and generosity I can call them both brothers in Christ.
Testimony 3: Unexpected Encounter
Have you ever had an unexpected encounter with someone that changed you? I don't mean a quick interaction, but a real connecting encounter; a time of meeting that leaves you wide eyed and praising God. I would like to share with you one of those moments.
