Community Assistance

There are no guarantees in life.  Each day, many community members are acutely aware of the fragile balance of supporting themselves and their families, and seek help and hope through The Christian Center doors.  Mothers and their children starting a new life away from violence, men and women who have been searching for jobs for months and are running out of savings, young adults whose parents cannot support them: all can find a compassionate response, support and guidance, and a listening ear at The Christian Center.

In The Christian Center Community Assistance Program, each individual applying for assistance is treated with the utmost respect and fairness.  Proof of assistance eligibility is required in order to maintain accountability to both to clients as well as those who contribute to make the Community Assistance Program possible.

Through the generous monetary and goods donations of TCC partners and friends, those in need are provided assistance with clothing, bedding, hygiene supplies, and necessary household items such as couches, beds, chairs, dining tables, kitchen utensils and place settings.

If a need falls outside of the scope of The Christian Center's programs, our best efforts are made to guide clients to appropriate resources in the area.
