Community Dining Room

Planning to go out to dinner with the family tonight? Join us at the Christian Center's Community Dining Room for a healthy meal, and a time filled with interesting conversation with our residents! Simply by regularly sharing a meal, you can play an important role in the transformation of lives.

Every individual under the sun shares a common need for relationship. Your presence and participation in the Community Dining Room ministry helps with the process of gaining understanding, which can eliminate misconceptions and fear. This provides an important bridge in the healing process for our men.

The Community Dining Room is open to anyone in need of a meal. Anyone can walk in and be fed. We take care of the special nutritional needs of children. **Arrangements can be made for infant formula and baby food.

The kitchen and dining room is supported through paid staff, residents and volunteer help. On an average day, 200-250 meals are provided to both residents and walk-ins from the community. Church groups, families, and other interested organizations donate food, volunteer to cook and serve meals, and/or sit down to share a meal with our residents. You can help in this way, too.

Breakfast

Monday - Saturday

6:30 a.m.

So that kitchen staff can attend morning church services, Sunday breakfast is not served.

Lunch

Monday - Friday	12:00 noon
Saturday & Sunday	11:30 a.m.

Dinner

Sunday - Friday	5:00 p.m.
Saturday	4:30 p.m.

Dinner is served early on Saturdays so that kitchen staff can attend chapel service which begins at 6:00 p.m.

*Please note that the Community Dining Room does not do carry-out and we are not a food pantry. For those in need of items to stock home food pantries, we can provide referral information to other community agencies who provide this help.
