Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering with The Christian Center is all about the heart. It's not about time, although time is part of the investment. It's about what happens on the inside of a person during the time that is invested.

Volunteers change things for the better because they bring who they are and what God is doing in their lives into The Christian Center. Without that, the Christian Center could not be what it is. The place literally brightens with the presence of volunteers. Volunteers make friends with our clients, who then begin to realize that others in the world care about them. Then, when you're singing a song in chapel, or helping to get some work done around here—it takes on a deeper meaning. For the men here, it is who you are, together with what you do, that makes the difference!

Through your personal involvement at The Christian Center, you get the opportunity to get closer to God in a way that you wouldn't find elsewhere. You get the chance to see "up close and personal" a place where God is at work meeting people at their point of need. You get to participate in and witness God's healing and redemption. We don't think it gets much better than that!
