Mission Statement

“Offering a transformed life in Christ to the Hungry, Hurting and Homeless.”

We believe that everyone was created in God’s own image and therefore, no one should be defined by his or her mistakes—We’ve all made them. Nor is a person’s situation their identity. We were all fearfully and wonderfully made. So, whether an individual needs help due to past or present difficult circumstances, The Christian Center believes he deserves the assistance he needs. As a faith-based, inter-denominational organization, we aim to nurture the souls of the individuals who need us, regardless of past decisions. We strive to communicate and demonstrate the forgiveness, acceptance, and growth that Christ offers all his followers.

Operating under our mission, we carry a vision of becoming a hub for community partners and organizations that aim to alleviate the strain of hunger, homelessness, and hurt.

We provide both physical and emotional nourishment for those faced with insufficient food sources.

People are affected by disasters every day —both environmentally natural and domestically rare—that render them without a home. We provide a safe, friendly place where they can be protected and appreciated.

Whether a person is experiencing physical, emotional, or mental pain, he is welcome here. We offer an abundance of resources to help people remedy situations or cultivate new opportunities.

With an eye on the future, we hope to share ideas, resources, and knowledge with similarly minded ministries. We continue to share Christ’s love in an effort to meet the needs of our hungry, hurting, and homeless neighbors, both consciously and effectively.
