At The Christian Center in Anderson, IN, we believe that healing begins with hope—and for many, that hope is rooted in faith. Our non-denominational chapel services offer a space for residents and community members alike to experience spiritual renewal, encouragement, and connection.

Whether you're seeking peace, direction, or simply a place to rest in God’s presence, our chapel is open to you.

Worship That Meets You Where You Are

Our chapel gatherings aren’t about tradition or ritual—they’re about transformation. Each service is designed to uplift, inspire, and remind us that no matter our past, we are not forgotten.

We welcome all faith backgrounds and walks of life. You don’t need to dress a certain way or know all the right words. You just need to come with an open heart.

Faith That Transforms Lives

Spiritual care is a vital part of the healing process at The Christian Center. For many residents, the chapel becomes the place where chains are broken, peace is found, and life begins again.

As Christ teaches in Matthew 25:35–36, “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me…” Our ministry lives out this verse every day—and our chapel is where many discover the deeper meaning behind those words.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is the chapel open to the public or only for residents?

While our services are held on-site for residents, community members are welcome to attend.

  • Do I need to be Christian to attend chapel?

Not at all. Our chapel is open to people of all faiths—or no faith at all. You won’t be pressured or judged. The space is about encouragement, reflection, and healing.

  • Can I bring my kids or family to chapel services?

Yes. Children and families are welcome at chapel services unless otherwise noted. We do not currently offer childcare, so children remain with parents during worship.

  • What should I wear to chapel?

There’s no dress code. Come as you are—whether that’s jeans and a T-shirt or Sunday best. You’ll be welcomed either way.

  • How long are the services?

Most services last about 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the speaker or format that day.

  • Who leads the services?

Services are often led by our staff, guest pastors, or local volunteers with a heart for ministry. We welcome diverse voices from across the Anderson faith community.

  • How can I get involved in chapel ministry?

We’re always looking for musicians, speakers, and prayer partners who want to serve. Visit our Volunteer page to learn more.

  • Can chapel services be used to fulfill community service hours?

No. While chapel attendance is encouraged, it’s not counted as a formal service opportunity. However, volunteering to lead or assist with chapel-related activities may qualify—ask our team for more info.

  • Do you host special services for holidays or events?

Yes. We hold special gatherings around major Christian holidays like Easter and Christmas, and sometimes host guest choirs or events open to the public. These are promoted on-site and through our blog or newsletter.
